1.Every time you type an address into your browser, your device sends a request to the web host of the target site. When the network host receives the request, it sends the web page of the target site back to your device.
2. If the web host knows your Internet protocol or IP address, it can only send pages back to you. As you might have guessed, you also sent your IP address along with a request to browse the web site. This means that your target site knows roughly where you are browsing. The network host may also be able to access your ISP account name through your IP address.
