They store and forward Internet services (such as DNS or web pages) to reduce and control the bandwidth used by groups.
2.Forwarding proxies can also be anonymous proxies, allowing users to hide their IP addresses while browsing the Web or using other Internet services. The tor (Onion router) routes Internet traffic through multiple anonymous proxies.
