While using a hidden proxy server helps protect your company's Internet connection, you can easily disable it. Windows 7 allows you to add, remove, and configure proxy server connection information.
1.Click Start, and then click Control Panel in the right pane.
2. Click Networks and Internet, and click the Internet Options link on the next page. If you set the control panel to classic Style view, click the Internet Options icon.
3. Click LAN Settings.
4. Deselect use a proxy server for your LAN and click OK. Click OK again to close the Internet Properties window.
