You can disable the proxy server in Internet Explorer's Internet options. When you disable the proxy server, you disable malware access to the browser proxy server.
1. Open Internet Explorer and click Gear in the upper right corner. A drop-down list opens.
2. Click Internet Options. The Internet Options dialog box opens.
3. Click the Connections TAB.
4. Click LAN Settings.
5. Clear the use a proxy server for your LAN check box.
