1.Proxy Settings enable the system administrator to fine-tune the behavior of the proxy server. In particular, you can configure connections and requests to the application server, enable caching, configure requests that must be rejected, define how to handle error responses, and specify the location of proxy logs.
2. The proxy server is automatically aware of the environment when it is created and can route requests to the product. Additional configurations can be applied to the proxy server to meet the needs of a particular environment.
3. To view this administrative Console page, click Server > Server Type > WebSphere Proxy Server > Proxy_Server_name > HTTP Proxy Server Settings > Proxy Settings.
