How does a rotation agent work?

The Agent is the intermediary between you and the web page. You can access the site anonymously. This agent prevents the device from having any direct contact with the site being visited.

As well as receiving the response from the Web server, it also represents your Web request. The agent has an IP address attached to a different location.

There are two main types of agents:

DataCenter is a proxy server published by a cloud service provider. They're all artificial. They look the same. And you can use a lot of it, so it's good for rotation.

Isps send these agents to homeowners. They are legal and not easy to spot. Their low occupancy makes them very reliable, especially for web scraping.

Having a single agent handle all traffic increases the likelihood that you will be blacklisted during data extraction.

A circular proxy can distribute your traffic to different IP addresses. It provides IP cycling, where your devices are assigned IP addresses on a regular basis. To work more efficiently, you need a large pool of agents.

Proxy size depends on:

The number you want to apply for. The more requests you make, the more agents you need. This prevents some IP from being abused.

The security level of the site you are visiting. Sites with powerful anti-robot detectors will need more pools of agents. That's because with an IP block, the probability is high.

The type of agent used. Data center agents are easier to spot than residents, which means you need more data to override these masked agents.

Always use a private proxy rather than a shared proxy. There can be more control over the use of private agents to reduce the possibility of being blocked.
