What is a shared proxy?

Sandra Pique

A share proxy is an IP address that can be used by many users simultaneously. They are simpler than private agents because of their lack of privacy and security loopholes. But that doesn't mean they aren't suitable for any task, because they can work a lot online. One of its advantages is its low price.

Your IP address is your identity, providing information about where you are. So if you want to go online anonymously, or access content that is blocked because of your location, you'll need an agent. If you want to hide your identity on the Internet, bypass network filters, or connect to the network from somewhere else, it is primarily a shared proxy.

So, if you want to access a specific content, or get around geographical restrictions, a shared proxy is a good and cheap option.

If the IP needs to be an e-commerce platform or social media, consider selecting roxlabs dedicated computer room IP. Fast IP, easy to set, unlimited traffic.
